StandOut Internships is an independent educational organisation that arranges unpaid internships and professional development training in Sydney and Hong Kong for university students, graduates and gap year travellers from all over the world.
As a small business we’re able to offer a highly personalised service, ensuring we meet each applicant’s individual needs.
Our Internships
We pride ourselves on the quality of our internships. Professionalism is key and we only work with companies prepared to dedicate the resources to supporting well structured and supervised internships.
We place applicants in roles that allow them to do meaningful tasks for a company – not photocopying or making coffee!
We arrange internships in marketing, finance, law, engineering, IT, advertising, fashion and many more professional fields.

Professional Development
Our professional development training and careers workshops are second to none. They are run by professionals with experience of interviewing and selecting graduates for top companies. All professionals have first-hand knowledge of what companies are looking for during the recruitment process.
Our workshops are designed to develop your interview, presentation and team-working skills, increasing your chances of standing out from other job candidates. They also help to prepare you for the start of your internship, so that you get the most from your work experience.
The workshops vary in length from 1 to 3 days and are usually at the start of your internship.
